•HOW IT WORKS
During your initial appointment OR consultation, we will discuss color, shape, size and desired goals. In these gallery photos you will see eyeliner work as well as brows of different types. It's important to remember I design a brow for you, not anyone else. It's not a "trendy" brow; it's not a brow "fad"; it's the most complimentary brow we can achieve based on your features and preferences. (Note: Most work seen here is immediately after procedure so the pigment appears darker and bolder than what it will heal to.) After your procedure, your makeup will appear darker and more vibrant for 7-10 days and then begin to lighten and soften until weeks 3-4. At 8+ weeks we will perform a touch up procedure, if necessary, in order to perfecting touches on your new, amazing makeup! No implantation will be done until the client and myself agree on the shape and color she/he desires for their face. I will of course guide the process with my professional input and make suggestions for changes if I feel the shape is too much, too little or not right for the face. However, it is extremely important that the client plays a role in designing the makeup as it goes home with YOU at the end of the day. I do focus on the conservative and natural side of the finished look. To enhance your natural beauty is my personal goal!
Allergy testing for pigments is recommended but not mandatory at least one week before the planned procedure. Persons with very sensitive skin and who have a history of allergic reactions should undergo an allergy test prior to a procedure. Delicate areas may swell slightly or become red. It is advised not to make social plans for the same or next day. The use of aftercare and ice will minimize pain, swelling and bruising the first 5 days (consult with me prior to adding the afore mentioned to your healing regiment). Preparing for the procedure can make a big impact on the results of your procedure. The skin must be healthy and not irritated. The following will assist in a good result and better healing experience.
1. Wear your brows into your appointment as you normally would.
2. No Botox 3 weeks before/ 3 weeks after. Botox may alter the shape of the brow and distort the results.
3. No Retinol or Vitamin A skincare products 3-4 weeks before/ 3 weeks after procedure.
4. No peels, microdermabrasion, or certain facials (those that cause resurfacing/healing of skin) 2 weeks before/ 3 weeks after.
5. No tanning (sunburned face) 1 week prior to procedure/ Do not expose pigment to tanning after procedure.
6. No tweezing or waxing 1 week before. No electrolysis or laser 1 week before.
7. No fish oils, Aspirin, Niacin or Vitamin E 1 week before (blood thinners).
8. No alcohol consumption 48 hours before (blood thinner).
9. No caffeine 24 hrs before (can increase pain).
10.Eyelashes or eyebrows that are usually dyed should not be done within 72 hours before and 3 weeks after.
11.Eyelash extensions must be removed at least one week before and not replaced for 3 weeks after (for liner procedure). Please keep in mind the timing of replacement if you plan to receive a touch up.
12.No contact lenses during procedures and for several days after (for liner procedure).
13.Lash or brow enhancing/ conditioning/ growth products must be stopped 3 weeks before any brow or eyeliner procedure and not used for 3 weeks after procedure. 14.Eyeliner procedures can cause your eyes to water or swell. It is recommended that you have someone available to drive you if you are taking any additional pain medications on your own as a safety precaution.

PMU Procedures NOT suitable for the following conditions:
Eyebrows are a must for those who have little or none. This procedure fills in the brow, reshapes or creates brows where there are none. No more worrying about swimming or sports on warm days and the washing or sweating away of your brows!
Microblading is the creation of a brow using a manual hand tool to create the appearance of individual hair strokes. This procedure will need touch ups generally every 12-18 months. Results vary per client. Microblading is less suitable for oily skin types and for those that need cover up/correction work.

Permanent cosmetics, micropigmentation, dermal implantation, microblading/microstroking, eyebrow embroidery, are all different names for the same procedure – cosmetic tattooing. Any time color is placed into the skin with any device, it is a tattoo process as defined by many well informed regulators, the medical community, and dictionary sources. Denying this process is a tattoo can be problematic for those who would, for religious or other personal reasons, normally refuse to have a tattoo.
By definition and tattoo industry standards, color is tattooed/implanted into the dermis of the skin. If pigment particles do not reach the dermis, they will disappear during the healing phase of the skin, during normal regeneration of cells at the epidermal level. Pigments do fade in the skin over time, but that does not make the process semi-permanent. It is impossible to predict how much pigment will fade away and how long it will take to do so with any measure of consistency or reliability.
This is simply because a much smaller amount of pigment is inserted (tattooed) into the skin as compared to fully or solidly filled eyebrow tattoos.
Powder brow is the creation of a brow using shading techniques to provide more definition, depth and fullness than a microbladed brow. This brow is most similar to how your brow would look with makeup. This procedure lasts a little long than microblading alone and will need touch ups generally every 24-48 months. Results vary per client. Contact Fine Lines in Paris, TX TODAY if this is the permanent makeup procedure for you!
Combination brow is the creation of a brow using a manual hand tool to create the appearance of individual hair strokes + shading to provide more definition, depth and fullness. This procedure lasts a little longer than microblading alone and will need touch ups generally every 18-24 months. Results vary per client. Blushing enhances your lips, defining edges, correcting shape, and adjusting color for a natural look lasting 12–36 months. Achieve a beautiful lipstick effect with 2+ sessions. While it creates fuller lips, extreme overlining isn't done. If your lips are melanin-rich, dark, cool-toned, or prone to cold sores, check below before booking.
For higher melanin lip procedures, multiple sessions following strict protocols are essential. Initial sessions focus on neutralizing deeper tones with a bright color matching your undertone to avoid further darkening or no results. This technique yields a nude/pink even tone.
Results aren't guaranteed, and lightening/evening high melanin/cool-toned lips may require several sessions. Unsure about your lip type? Email or text well-lit, clear lip photos, or book a consultation for confirmation.
If you are prone to cold sores, the procedure can trigger an outbreak. You must begin an antiviral (such as Valtrex) treatment 5 days before, the day of, and 5 days after to prevent a flare up. A cold sore outbreak can alter the healed results of a tattoo.
A non-refundable deposit is required upon booking in order to reserve your date and time. Technician will provide information on how to pay your deposit. If you do not pay your deposit within 24 hrs, the original discussed appointment slot IS not reserved nor guaranteed.
Note: Rates are subject to change and are non-negotiable
