Permanent makeup can save time, enhance features, and boost confidence. It is especially beneficial for people with busy lifestyles, vision impairments, or conditions that affect hair growth.
Common areas for permanent makeup include eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips. However, other areas such as scalp, areola, and beauty marks can also be tattooed.
The healing process typically takes 7-14 days, depending on the area tattooed and the individual's healing process. During this time, the tattooed area may scab, itch, and flake as it heals.
In permanent makeup, topical anesthetics are used to minimize discomfort. Please keep in mind everyone has a different tolerance to pain. The procedures are done with very small needles that deposit color in the appropriate layer of the skin. Most clients have very little to no pain during the procedure. I continue the use of anesthetic throughout the procedure to control you comfort level. Tenderness due to the wiping of pigment and pressure applied to stretch the skin may occur.
Although not mandatory or necessary in every situation, I do offer in person consultations (20-30 mins). If you are in need of a correction or cover up or have existing pigment, I may ask you to come in or to send very clear pictures so that I can determine the appropriate next step.
New brow clients can expect to be with me for 2.5-3 hrs the day of your appointment. Your touch up will depend on retention but normally 1.5-2 hrs.
Top and bottom liner is generally the same as brows. However, if you get only top or only bottom you can expect 1.5-2 hours for you initial appointment depending on thickness of desired liner.
You will be given specific aftercare instructions for each procedure. This will include the care and application of provided healing ointment for 7-10 days. Going back to work after getting brows done is not a problem, although the color and size may be a little more bold than what you and your peers are use to. Eyeliner may cause swelling and bruising but again, you should be able to continue on with normal daily tasks. For liner, please be prepared to wear your glasses while healing instead of your contacts.
I totally love moral support! You may bring along one person to your appointment. They will be asked to sit slightly outside of my work space for the sanitation and safety of us all as I am using needles very close to delicate areas. But do not worry! They will be able to see and talk to you the whole time.
No worries! As a wife and a mom, I know LIFE just happens sometimes. I do require a NON-refundable deposit to book, but I will honor it upon 1 reschedule as long as I am given 48 hrs notice. If given less notice than 48 hrs (but NOT a no show) I will require another deposit to get back on the schedule. Both deposit amounts will go towards your procedure.
If you need to cancel your appointment entirely, please do not take the non-refundable policy personally. As these appointments reserve up to 3 hours of my time and are not easily filled last minute, a cancellation results in the loss of money of my end as well.
If you pay a deposit and "no show" your appointment, I reserve the right to refuse future service. Again, I understand things happen but a call, text, email, ANYTHING letting me know that you won't be coming shows a lot of consideration and takes very little time to do.
Please take some time to BROWse my site for all of the essential brow information! I encourage you to swipe through pictures, read reviews, and read about the details involved before, during and after the procedure to make sure this is the right place for you. I would love to make your BROW and LINER dreams come true. -xoxo
